The OpenRTE project is a true open-source effort. Many people have and continue to contribute, both in
terms of code and ideas. Currently, contributors come from a number of organizations spanning several countries:

Contributions are welcomed from all interested parties (click here for directions on how to contribute). The OpenRTE system design is coordinated by a group of volunteers
who are available to provide advice and guidance to contributors regarding how the system works, and help point people towards
areas to which they could potential contribute. In addition, the coordinating council reviews proposed contributions both to
ensure compatibility with the overall design and project direction, and to validate functionality prior to incorporation into
a public release. The coordinating council currently consists of:
